CREATIVELY CHALLENGING MYSELF BY ALEC VIANELLO

CREATIVELY CHALLENGING MYSELF BY ALEC VIANELLO

Oftentimes, I used to find myself getting comfortable being comfortable and living without change and a challenge. It was easy for me to stay in my place of convenience, where I feel most secure. I now believe if you aren’t challenging yourself, you are actually hurting yourself.

How do I test my creativity?

I challenge myself in every way I can. I challenge myself through life and staying patient and accepting of change. I challenge myself through new fitness goals and physically and mentally strengthening myself. I challenge myself to do better in the classroom as I find it is harder for me to learn than others. I challenge myself to help others when there is little to no reward. I challenge myself to be a better me every day. I strengthen my character when I put myself out of my comfort zone and into situations that I could fail at. The test of a person’s true character is how that person responds to adversity and what they do in times when they’re uncomfortable.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
