FINDING YOUR TRUE COLORS BY MARISSA BARTOLOTTA

FINDING YOUR TRUE COLORS BY MARISSA BARTOLOTTA

Color has always inspired my creativity. Ever since I was little, I was drawn to color combinations, coordinations, and shades. I would argue that color inspires most of us and our lives without even knowing it. When was the first time you were asked what your favorite color is? You were probably too young to even remember. But your favorite color is something that we use to identify ourselves with. It is a way we express and define ourselves.

Mine growing up was always purple. This meant that the walls in my bedroom, my comforter, my stuffed animals, my school supplies, and so much more - all purple. Though this “favorite color” of mine has changed countless times over the years, one thing has never changed… My favorite color will always represent who I am. My colors are my brand, they are how I identify myself, and as my personality and life changes, so will my favorite colors.

So I challenge you, the person reading this, to recognize your favorite color and embrace it. Realize how it describes who you are, and always strive to find your true colors.
