SOMETIMES IN LIFE IT PAYS OFF TO BE NEGATIVE BY HUNTER SATURN

SOMETIMES IN LIFE IT PAYS OFF TO BE NEGATIVE BY HUNTER SATURN

I am quite the positive person. I always see the glass half full. I make the most out of any situation I'm in. I’m never negative when things go wrong. It’s almost like nothing around me will ruin my day.

As someone who wants to innovate this is a danger. My positivity will hold me back. How can I see the problems that need to be solved if I’m never bothered by anything?

How will I identify the pain points in someone's life if I always see the sunny side of things? It’s simple… I can’t. My positivity makes me blind to everyday problems. I struggle to see the opportunities for innovation in day to day activities.

My dad always says it’s great to see the world as if the glass is half full. I think it needs to be the opposite…. I must look at the glass half-empty in order to find pain points and bugs that plague people’s days. I need to take this point of view in order to be a great innovator.

Unlike my dad says: sometimes in life it pays off to be a little negative.
