If I were to tell you that a table sparked my creativity, you probably would think I am crazy.

You would probably look at me like I have lost my mind or that I need a life.

But I would have to disagree with you because this table shaped my creativity, and I will tell you why.

It is so much more than a table for me. It is a place where I can escape my room and ideate, but it is also a place where I can socialize with others and observe and gain creative influence. It is a place that I can make memories. 

It is the piece of furniture in my apartment that unifies us and allows us to take a step back.

Take a step back and listen to each other.

Take a step back and learn from each other.

Take a step back and be vulnerable with each other.

We are constantly in front of a screen and have blinders on to the world around us.

This table is my escape from technology and the things in my life and an opportunity to see the things happening in everyone else's lives. 

This table has allowed me to step back from my everyday routine and schedule and look at life with a new lens.
