WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH BY CHARLIE WRIGHT

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH BY CHARLIE WRIGHT

“When problems arise and reveal themselves, strong people work hard to conquer them.” That’s a quote my father used to always say to me growing up. Personally, I believe that creativity is enabled in a person when problems arise that require solutions. I think the most creative people born cannot be as creative as they are without being presented with a challenging or confounding situation. I believe true colors of a person's creativity are shown when they are tested and must overcome something that disarms their original thinking. They must take that leap of faith and put their mind to the test in order to think outside the box, then and only then will a person figure out what they are capable of creatively. I’ve been faced with challenging situations countless times in my life, and in order to get out of that rabbit hole you have to be strong. It’s simple and easy to give up because we’re wired to receive pleasure quickly. But that isn’t how it should be. If you really want to reach the full potential of creativity, then it takes strength. When the going gets tough, strong people work hard to conquer.
