FEELING LIKE A MILLION BUCKS BY AMERICA GONZALEZ

FEELING LIKE A MILLION BUCKS BY AMERICA GONZALEZ

One thing I’ve learned in life is, your mind is your most prized possession. How you think and how you view things can change your life forever.

One promise I’ve made to myself is, wherever I go I will carry myself like I am worth a million bucks.

In high school most students simply go to get an education. Some students even join a sport. Few join the band, or robotics or even the National Honor Society. For me it was all of those things. It didn’t feel like enough. I wanted to be a business owner. Everyone thought it was a joke because I was so young. A few thought that it meant that I’d be dropping out of high school. My VOJ at the time agreed.

It wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I decided to fight my VOJ and take that risk. I created a business that embraced our fallen veterans and those who serve us today. A resin keychain business called, The Language Of Flowers. At the age of 17, I was finally a business owner. A successful female entrepreneur with a 78% profit margin. I felt like a million bucks, a feeling that I wanted to last forever.

I realized that you don’t have to feel like a million bucks only when you open a business or get that job you’ve always wanted. Feeling like a million bucks can be that red dress you look super hot in, or waking up and finally doing your hair that morning. It can be whenever you let your mind think you are.
