"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it."

In other words, perspective is everything.

Failure is something that I've tried to avoid for so much of my life. Why? Because whenever I thought of failure, I thought it meant that I wouldn't succeed. That Iā€™d done something wrong.

But perspective is everything.

Our MUCCI meeting on Wednesday taught me that failure doesn't mean you will never succeed. It means you took a risk. It means there is a chance for you to grow. It means you now have an opportunity to learn something new.

But that only happens if you take situations, take failures, as an opportunity to learn. To grow. To reflect. To be better than you were before.

So if you're going to fail,

Fail forward

Fail hard

Fail often

Fail smart

Fail fun

Take each failure as a chance to gain a new perspective. Perceive failures as a new beginning. Life sometimes means climbing the mountain before you can gain the entire perspective.

But always remember, how you take failure is what determines how it changes your life.

Always keep your perspective.
