HOW MORNING THOUGHTS CAN CHANGE YOUR DAY BY TIA BENSON

Waking up in the morning is hard. Especially when you must go to class and its cold outside. If you don’t hate waking up, well then props to you.

Have you ever wondered why you wake up thinking the things you do? Maybe you just had a dream about a friend, and you wake up thinking you two are in a fight. Or you dream about that boy in your Entrepreneurship class and suddenly he’s the first thing on your mind.

Your morning thoughts can change the course of your entire day. Don’t wake up thinking that you just want to go back to sleep, skip class, or that the morning sucks. That sets a negative tone for the entire day.

When you wake up, the first thing you should do is take a deep breath. Be grateful that you woke up and can take on a new day. Next, name three things that you are thankful for. It can be the dinner you had last night or the bug that’s flying around your room.

Repeat this process for a week and see how your life changes. All you need to do is change the tone of your morning thoughts and I promise that you will have better days overall.
