IF YOU AREN'T LAUGHING, WHY ARE YOU DOING IT?

Laughter has always been my favorite thing. I laugh every day. Yes, I do find a lot of things funny, but I laugh because it means I am having fun. I laugh because when I do I feel like a kid again. When I laugh, I also feel my most creative.

In entrepreneurship we spend a lot of time rediscovering our childlike curiosity. On this journey of self-discovery, I have found that I feel my most creative when I laugh. It is when I begin to feel most like a child.

In every group meeting, in every class, even when I am completely alone in my room – I always look for a way to get myself or someone else laughing. Usually, I accomplish this by sharing the craziest, most out of pocket ideas. Laughing about them is what makes me want to see how far I can dig to find them.

Whenever I am asked my favorite word, it’s laugh. My biggest piece of advice? Make yourself laugh.
