CREATIVE OUTLETS BY BETHANY ANZALONE

When I think of creativity I think of art and the world around us. I spend a lot of time outside exploring or enjoying the environment around me. Whether it be going on a run or exploring somewhere new, or going on a hike deep into the woods, that is my creative outlet. Sometimes beauty is overlooked by everyone who passes by. However, when someone stops and really examines their environment, they can find many pure and simple beauties. For example, a plastic bottle on the side of the road may look like litter to many people who pass by. Yet, when you set your camera up with the right angle, the right lighting, and the right exposure, that litter turns into a beautiful piece of art. What’s special about art is that with creativity, anything can become beautiful, intriguing, or be given a whole new meaning. It’s all in one’s perspective, and when that perspective is changed, coupled with creativity, the world becomes so much more than what first meets the eye.
