“When life gives you lemons”

How many times have I heard this saying?

I acquired the nickname lemons my freshman year of high school. Ever since then, it has stuck.

My parents are now known as Mr. and Mrs. Lemons, some people don’t even know my first

name is Katie, and now my professors even call me Lemons.

This was always just a name…

but, it wasn’t until this class that I thought deeply into what this name means…

I have realized there is more behind this nickname. Lemons has become a personal brand, it is a

symbol of what I am and who I have become.

People always joke around and say, “when life gives you lemons… you get ____” *fill in the

blank*

Well now it’s my turn to tell YOU what lemons means to me.

Lemons is someone who adapts to her surroundings.

Lemons is someone who has a passion to serve others.

Lemons is someone who is always willing to go on an adventure.

Lemons is a good friend and support system

Lemons is ME.
