I have struggled to identify myself as a professional woman within the field of architecture because of my ambition to be taken seriously, while maintaining my feminine identity. As a woman in a male-dominating field, I have found it hard to remain confidently true to myself.

Although Elle is beautiful, fashionable and kind towards everyone, others put down her abilities and intelligence. Elle Woods is a profound role model as she unwaveringly pursues a goal.

As I continue to acknowledge limitations and interpretations, I continuously remind myself that I can be an intellectual, feminine and blonde. I believe in empowering women and men to remain uncompromising and confidently true to themselves.
