FOLLOW THE MONEY KID BY PAUL BOYER

FOLLOW THE MONEY KID BY PAUL BOYER

A lot of different people have tried to tell me a lot of different things throughout my life.

“Come inside it’s getting late.”

“You should be studying.”

“Go to bed.”

“More work, less play.”

My answer was always, “Why?”

I thought life about having fun and going on adventures? At least that’s subconsciously what I always believed. But in class I learned that having fun is one of my core values. If I told my parents that, they would both probably have a stroke.

I refuse to live my life stuck sitting at a desk from 9-5 because society tells me to do so. Most people have the creativity and work ethic to do what they love and what they’re passionate about, they just don’t have the courage or confidence to put it into motion and do what they want especially if it means failing.

My late grandfather always told me to follow the money. Why? Helen Keller said, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” Sorry Papa, I love and miss you, but I think I’ll go try that adventure thing instead, sounds a lot more fun.
