WHOLE BODY CREATIVITY BY LEXI WILSON

WHOLE BODY CREATIVITY BY LEXI WILSON

Stress is a factor in everyone’s life, and more times than not its self inflicted. The thing is stress can be a driving factor for creativity. Writing, drawing, and dance is are outlets for stress for me that focus on creativity. I tend to let my emotions bottle up to a point I feel like I’m going to burst, but then I let myself play and turn to creativity.

Dance is my biggest outlet and where I feel I am my most authentic self and most creative. Turning on music and choreographing a piece with no fear and no guidance is a mind, body, and soul experience for me. I feel like a kid again, no fear, no right or wrong answers- I’m simply Lexi. There are no rigid rules that are constraining me. I am simply one with the music and letting all of my emotions and creativity flow out of me. Through years of dance and taking a break, I realized dancing and expressing my creativity is when I’m genuinely myself no fear, no judgment, and pure happiness. If it weren’t for the artistry and creativity of dance, I would be a lost soul passed by everyone in this fast-paced world.
